Group 50 - Auxiliary units consits
of:
- an additional autonomous heater (only for the 2.4 JTD
version)
- the vehicle climate control system
- the windscreen wash/wipe and headlamp washer system.
Additional autonomous heater
This autonomous heater is designed
to heat the passenger compartment more quickly with the engine running.Its operation is linked to the temperature
of the engine coolant and to the outside temperature.Climate control
The climate control system automatically
controls the temperature, ventilation and distribution of air with
a recirculation function and the possibility of directing the flows.A special control unit manages the operation
of the system.Windscreen wash/wipe and headlamp washers
The windscreen wipers, controlled
by an electronic control unit, may be fitted with an (optional)
rain sensor which makes it possible to automatically regulate the
frequency of the wiper blade operation on the basis of the intensity
of the rain.The windscreen washer function is managed
by the same windscreen wiper control unit.The headlamp washer system consists of a
special pump, fitted on the windscreen washer fluid reservoir, which
sends fluid under pressure to the special jets positioned in the
bumpers in front of the headlamps.
