3314632 - 4130A10 power steering box - r+r - check tow-in if necessary separately - includes bleeding

Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp with the wheels perfectly straight.Mark the position of the steering wheel in relation to the upper steering column shroud. 1. remove the power steering fluid reservoir cap and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe.
1. Remove the rubber protector (1a) and the accelerator pedal travel stop (1b).
1. Move aside the floor carpet, unscrew the nuts (1a) and remove the steering column universal joint guard (1b).2. Undo the bolt securing the steering column to the power steering box.
The bolt is pretreated and cannot therefore be refitted.
Push back the steering column joint.Remove the fail-safe device from the steering box pinion.
1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove protection (1b).
1. Unscrew the connector (1a) and disconnect the outlet hose from the power steering box (1b), steering box side.2. Undo the bolt securing the bracket for the delivery pipe from pump to steering box.
 - 1076B52  exhaust pipe (one) leaving l/h or r/h exhaust manifold - r + r (right). Refitting ( Removing ) Refit the power steering box in its seating, working from the front right wheelarch.Tighten the nuts securing the power steering heat exchanger pipe to the body shell.1. Tighten the bolts securing the power steering box to the front suspension subframe to the specified torque.

2. Connect the delivery pipe from pump to power steering box, steering box side, and tighten its connector to the specified torque.
