3314191 - 1088C40 thermostat- r + r (Automatic transmission)

Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 1048A28  vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r .  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . 1. Disconnect the lower engine radiator hose, radiator side.

Collect the coolant in a suitable container.

Release the electrical connections mounting bracket from the engine thermostat.1. Disconnect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator, thermostat side.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the engine thermostat (2b) from its mounting. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the engine thermostat and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

Connect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator to the thermostat.Fix the electrical connections mounting bracket to the engine thermostat.Connect the lower engine radiator hose, radiator side. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r .  - 1048A28  vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r .  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left). Supply the engine cooling system with the recommended fluid.
