Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 1048A34  sleeve(s) from flow meter to air supply capacity case - r + r .  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . 1. Disconnect the lower engine radiator hose, radiator side.

Collect the coolant in a suitable container.

Release the electrical connections mounting bracket from the engine thermostat.1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Disconnect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator, thermostat side.3. Disconnect, from the thermostat, the coolant supply pipe to the climate control system heater.4. Disconnect the lower engine radiator hose, thermostat side. 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the thermostat mounting (1b) complete with thermostat (1c). At the bench, undo the bolts and remove the thermostat from the mounting. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the mounting on the thermostat and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

1. Fit the thermostat mounting (1a) complete with thermostat (1b) and tighten the bolts (1c) to the specified torque.

Connect the lower radiator hose to the thermostat.Connect, to the thermostat, the coolant supply pipe to the air conditioning heater.Connect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator to the thermostat.Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor.Fix the electrical connections mounting bracket to the engine thermostat.Connect the lower engine radiator hose, radiator side. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r .  - 1048A34  sleeve(s) from flow meter to air supply capacity case - r + r .  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left). Supply the engine cooling system with the recommended fluid.
