) Move the automatic transmission manual control leverl to the P position. Make sure that the ignition is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

- 1048A28 vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r . 1. Disconnect the electrical connection of the automatic transmission gear selector.

1. Remove the retainer (1a) and disconnect the gear engagement cable (1b) from the automatic transmission gear selector.2. Undo the nut (2a) and remove the selector lever (2b).3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the automatic transmission gear selector (3b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the automatic transmission gear selector and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

The gear selector has a synchronization peg which, during assembly, must be inserted in its seating on the mounting bracket.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
