3314649 - 4130B73 return pipe from power steering case to rigid intermediate pipe r r for right hand drive versions

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Draw off the fluid from the power assisted steering reservoir using a suitable syringe. - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. - 7055B41  front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r1. Remove the pipe collar band on the power steering box.
 - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r Guard beneath engine].  - 1076B52  exhaust pipe (one) leaving l/h or r/h exhaust manifold - r + r1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the protective heat shield (1b) from the power steering box.
1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the band (1b) fixing the power steering pipes.2. Undo the connector (2a) and disconnect the supply pipe from the pump to the power assisted steering box (2b), power assisted steering box side.3. Unscrew the connector (3a) on the return pipe from power steering box to the rigid pipe on the steering box side (3b).
1. Disconnect the return pipe from power steering box to the rigid pipe on the rigid pipe side.
1. Remove the delivery pipe from power steering box to rigid pipe withdrawing it from the right front wheel compartment.
Refitting ( Removing ) Replace the delivery pipe from power steering box to rigid pipe withdrawing it from the right front wheel compartment.Connect the return pipe from power steering box to the rigid pipe on the rigid pipe side.1. Connect the return pipe from power steering box to rigid pipe (1a) power steering box side and secure by tightening fitting (1b) to the specified torque.

2. Connect the supply pipe from the pump to the power assisted steering box (2a), power assisted steering box side, and tighten the connector (2b) to the recommended torque.

3. Place the power assisted steering pipes retaining band back in the housing and secure it using the bolts.
Refit the power steering box heat shield in its seat and tighten its nuts. - 1076B52  exhaust pipe (one) leaving l/h or r/h exhaust manifold - r + r - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r Guard beneath engine]. Refit the power steering pipe collar band in its seating. Complete op.   7055B41  front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R.Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the air from the power steering system as described below.With the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4-5 times.Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir.Remove the vehicle from the ramp.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left).Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.
