Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r rDraw off the fluid from the power assisted steering reservoir using a suitable syringe.1. Undo the power steering fixing bolt.
 - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r Guard beneath engine].  - 1076B52  exhaust pipe (one) leaving l/h or r/h exhaust manifold - r + r - 1084B30  engine oil filter r r - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. - 1092G10  single engine belt r r - 1092G20  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r - 5530A14  alternator - r+r for versions with air conditioner1. Remove the "drip tray" for the power assisted steering fluid reservoir.2. Disconnect the rubber pipe from the rigid return pipe to the fluid reservoir, reservoir side.
1. Disconnect the rubber pipe from the rigid return pipe to the fluid reservoir, rigid pipe side.
1. Remove the rubber pipe from the rigid return pipe to the fluid reservoir, withdrawing it from the right front wheel compartemnt.
Refitting ( Removing ) Place the rubber pipe from the rigid return pipe to the fluid reservoir back in its housing and connect it.Place the power steering fluid reservoir drip tray back in its seating.  - 5530A14  alternator - r+r for versions with air conditioner - 1092G20  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r - 1092G10  single engine belt r r - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. - 1084B30  engine oil filter r r - 1076B52  exhaust pipe (one) leaving l/h or r/h exhaust manifold - r + r - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r Guard beneath engine]. Tighten the power steering fluid reservoir bolt. - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r rFill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the air from the power steering system as described below.With the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4-5 times.Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir.Remove the vehicle from the ramp.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left).Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.
