Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Draw off the fluid from the power assisted steering reservoir using a suitable syringe. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r Guard beneath engine]. 1. Disconnect the rubber pipe from heat exchanger to rigid pipes, rigid pipe side.
1. Unscrew the bolts retaining the bumper to the radiator crossmember.
1. Undo the connector and disconnect the rubber pipe from the heat exchanger to the rigid pipe, heat exchanger side.
1. Undo the nut (1a) and remove the bracket (1b) securing the power steering pipes.2. Remove the rubber pipe from heat exchanger to rigid pipes.
Refitting ( Removing ) Replace the rubber pipe from the heat exchanger to the rigid pipes back in its housing and secure using the nuts.Connect the rubber pipe from the heat exchanger to the rigid pipes, heat exchanger side and tighten the fitting to the specified torque.Tighten the bolts retaining the bumper to the radiator crossmember.Connect the rubber pipe from the heat exchanger to the rigid pipes, rigid pipe side. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r Guard beneath engine]. Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the air from the power steering system as described below.With the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4-5 times.Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir.Remove the vehicle from the ramp.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left).Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.
