3315402 - 1056BB Check efficiency of hot film air flow meter

Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op.   5530B10  battery - r+r ). Disconnect the electrical connection from the hot-film air flow meter.

Check the characteristic curve of the air flow meter, measuring the voltage between pins 3 and 5 in accordance with the air flow. 1, Air temperature sensor 2, 14 V supply 3 Earth 4, 5 V reference voltage 5, Output voltage (signal) -Check that the nominal resistance of the air sensor in the hot-film air flow meter corresponds to 2.0 kohm ± 5% between pins 1-3 at 25° C.
