3314858 - 5530A14 alternator - r+r for versions with air conditioner

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Ensure that the ignition key is in the stop OFF, then disconnect the battery negative terminal  - 5530B10  battery - r+r .

Proceed with the removal  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with the removal  - 1084B30  engine oil filter r r . Proceed with the removal  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (right). Proceed with the removal  - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (right). Proceed with the removal  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r . Proceed with the removal  - 1092G20  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r . 1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the right power steering box rod (1b) from the front vertical link using the tool (1c).

1. Release the A.B.S. sensor cable from the mounting bracket.2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the A.B.S. cable mounting bracket (2b).3. Undo the nut (3a) and move the front right anti-roll bar joint (3b) aside.
1. Remove the plastic protection, undo the nuts (1a), then disconnect the electrical connections (1b) and (1c) from the alternator.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the alternator (2b).
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Place the alternator (1a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

UP TO MARCH 20001. Connect the electrical cables (1a) and (1b) to alternator terminals B+ and D+, respectively.
The terminal for the cable (1a) connected to terminal B+ should be positioned vertically on the alternator cover towards terminal D+.

2. Secure the leads with bolts.
UP TO MARCH 20001. Fit the protective cover for terminal B+.
Make sure that the protection is properly closed and that the alternator cables are correctly positioned as illustrated in the figure.
FROM MARCH 20001. Connect the electrical cables (1a) and (1b) to alternator terminals B+ and D+, respectively.
The terminal for cable (1a) connected to terminal B+ should be positioned downwards on the alternator cover.

2. Secure the leads with bolts.
FROM MARCH 20001. Fit the protective cover for both terminals B+ and D+.
Make sure that the protection is properly closed and that the alternator cables are correctly positioned as illustrated in the figure.
1. Place the right front anti-roll bar joint (1a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the nut (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Fit the A.B.S. cable mounting bracket (2a) and fix it using the bolt (2b).3. Fix the A.B.S. sensor cable to the mounting bracket.
Connect the right power steering box rod to the front vertical link and fix it tightening the nut to the recommended torque.

Proceed with the refitting  - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (right). Proceed with the refitting  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (right). Proceed with the refitting  - 1084B30  engine oil filter r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Connect the battery terminal (-).Remove the car from the ramp.
