) Position the vehicle on the lift. Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor and release the electrical wiring from its attachments.

- 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . 1. Undo the bolts securing the catalytic converter to the exhaust pipes which emerge from the manifolds.2. Release the catalytic converter from the flexible mounting rings.3. Remove the protection (3a), then undo and remove the Lambda sensor complete with electrical wiring.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the Lambda sensor to the catalytic converter and tighten it to the specified torque.

Fit the Lambda sensor protection.Fix the catalytic converter to the flexible mounting rings.Tighten the bolts securing the exhaust pipes which emerge from the manifolds to the catalytic converter to the specified torque.
