Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Ensure that the ignition key is in stop position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (  - 5530B10  battery - r+r ).

Proceed with the removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the removal  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Drain the brake fluid using a suitable syringe.1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the precharging pump and move the wiring aside.

1. Undo the connector and disconnect the rigid pipe from precharging pump to three-way connector, precharging pump side.2. Unscrew fitting (2a) and remove rigid pipe from precharging pump to three-way connector (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) Refit the rigid pipe from precharging pump to three-way connector.Tighten the connector for the rigid pipe from precharging pump to three-way connector, three-way connector end, to the recommended torque.

Tighten the connector for the rigid pipe from the precharging pump to the three-way connector, precharging pump side, to the recommended torque.

Refit the electrical wiring and connect the electrical connection from the precharging pump.Bleed the air from the brake/vehicle stability control hydraulic system (procedure due to be published shortly). Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
