) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Ensure that the ignition key is in stop position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal ( - 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

Proceed with the removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the removal - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 3340A12 A'B.S. system. - electronic and hydraulic CONTROL UNIT R.R. . Proceed with removal - 3340A13 abs central mount - r r . Proceed with the removal - 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (Left side). Proceed with the removal - 7055B39 front additional wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, front element - r r (Left side). 1. Working from the left front wheel compartment, release the rigid pipe from the three-way connector to the ABS/ASR hydraulic and electronic control unit from the retaining collar.

1. Release the rigid pipe from three-way fitting to ABS/ASR hydraulic and electronic control unit from the retaining band.2. Undo fitting (2a) and remove the rigid pipe from three-way fitting to ABS/ASR hydraulic and electronic control unit (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the rigid pipe from three-way fitting to ABS/ASR hydraulic and electronic control unit.Tighten the connector of the rigid pipe from three-way fitting to ABS/ASR hydraulic and electronic control unit, three-way connector side, to the specified torque.

Proceed with the refitting - 7055B39 front additional wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, front element - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting - 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (Left side). Proceed with the removal - 3340A13 abs central mount - r r . Proceed with the removal - 3340A12 A'B.S. system. - electronic and hydraulic CONTROL UNIT R.R. . Bleed the air from the brake/vehicle stability control hydraulic system (procedure due to be published shortly). Proceed with the refitting - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
