Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Make sure that the ignition is OFF (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op.   5530B10  battery - r+r ).

Remove the cap with built-in brake fluid level switch and drain the brake/clutch fluid from the reservoir using a suitable syringe. - 7050A19  rear seat squab - r r .  - 7050A20  one-piece rear seat cushion - r r .  - 7050A10  rear seat - r+r .  - 5570T98  rear speaker - r r .  - 7050A20  one-piece rear seat cushion - r r .  - 7050A19  rear seat squab - r r .  - 7040H42  rear pillar trim - r r .  - 7040H84  parcel rack plus speaker - r r .  - 7065B40  Rear seat belt reel mounting BRACKET , (one), left or right - R.R . . Remove the foam protection.1. Undo the nuts fixing the rear shock absorbers to the bodyshell. Remove the handbrake boot.1. Lift up the handbrake lever (1a) and loosen the nut (1b) tensioning the handbrake cables. 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the rear wheel rpm sensors (1b) from the housings in the hubs.2. Disconnect the rear brake caliper flexible pipe, rigid pipe side.3. Remove the clip (3a) and release the rear brake caliper flexible pipes (3b) from the mounting brackets. 1. Disconnect the handbrake cables from the rear brake calipers.2. Undo the bolts fixing the handbrake cables to the rear suspension lower track control arms. 1. Position a hydraulic jack (1a) complete with tool (1b) supporting the rear suspension.

1. Loosen the bolts fixing the lower track control arms to the front mounting brackets.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and the plastic plugs (2b) fixing the lower track control arm front mounting brackets to the bodyshell. 1. Undo the bolts fixing the rear suspension crossmember to the bodyshell.2. Lower the hydraulic jack and remove the complete rear suspension. Refitting ( Removing ) Replace the rear suspension, complete with hydraulic jack, in its housing.Tighten the bolts fixing the rear suspension crossmember to the bodyshell to the recommended torque.

1. Fit the plastic plugs (1a) and tighten the bolts (1b) fixing the lower track control arm front mounting brackets to the bodyshell to the recommended torque.

2. Tighten the bolt fixing the track control arm to the mounting bracket to the recommended torque.

Remove the hydraulic jack and the rear suspension supporting tool.

Tighten the bolts fixing the handbake cables to the rear suspension lower track control arms.Connect the handbrake cables to the rear brake calipers.Fix the rear brake caliper flexible pipes to the mounting brackets using the clips.Connect the rear brake caliper flexible pipe to the rigid pipe and tighten the connector to the recommended torque.

Replace the rear wheel rpm sensors in the housings in the hub struts and fix them using the bolts.1. Tighten the nuts fixing the rear shock absorbers to the bodyshell.

Connect the battery terminal (-).Remove the car from the ramp. Check and if necessary adjust the wheel geometry values  - 4450A40  rear wheel geometry - check using optical equipment .
