) Ensure that the ignition key is in the stop OFF, then disconnect the battery negative terminal - 5530B10 battery - r+r .

1. Prise off and move aside the embellishment for the switch holder, cigarette light and gear lever gaiter without disconnecting the electrical connections.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the frame for the I.C.S. panel and the switch holder on the tunnel cover (1b) after having released it from the fixing buttons.

1. Release the two fastening springs using a screwdriver in the space between the dashboard and the I.C.S. panel.2. Extract the I.C.S. panel, as necessary, and disconnect the electrical connections (2a), (2b), (2c), (2d), (2e) and (2f).

It is advisable to avoid pressing the I.C.S. panel control buttons in any way so it should be handled by the edges/mountings only.

3. Remove the I.C.S. panel.

1. If necessary, remove the multi-purpose knobs (1a) and (1b) at the bench pulling them by hand.2. Remove the lower finishing trim.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the lower finishing trim back in its housing, taking care not to distort it.Press fit the multi-purpose knobs on the centering pins.

The internal diameter of the right knob is 6 mm, whilst that of the left knob is 5 mm.

Position the I.C.S. panel and connect the electrical connections.Place the I.C.S. panel back in its housing until the two fastening springs are attached.Fit the I.C.S. panel from and switch holder on the tunnel cover, fastening it using the buttons and bolts.Refit the embellishment for the switch holder, cigarette lighter and gear lever gaiter in its seating.Connect the battery terminal (-).
