3314053 - 1020A20 crank case oil sump - r + r clean seals for sealant application (Automatic transmission)

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Make sure that the ignition is OFF (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op.   5530B10  battery - r+r ).

Undo the bolts (1a) and disconnect the right front half shaft (1b) from the intermediate half shaft.
The above bolts have been treated with an eslok type material therefore they should be replaced each time they are removed.
2. Undo the nut fixing the rear power unit rigid support to the flexible mounting.
1. Undo the nut fixing the timing side rigid engine support to the flexible mounting.
 - 1076B50  exhaust pipe attachment to engine - r + r . 1. Undo the drain plug and drain the engine oil.
Recover the engine oil in a suitable container.
2. Disconnect the condensation oil recovery pipe from the crankcase sump.3. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine oil level sensor.

4. Undo and remove the engine oil level sensor.
1. Undo the bolt fixing the bracket connecting the crankcase sump to the power unit rigid rear support.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the protection (1b) for the oil return pipe to the sump from the turbocharger.2. Disconnect the oil return pipe from the turbocharger to the sump, crankcase sump side.
1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the bracket (1b).2. Undo the bolt fixing the engine oil supply and return pipes to the cooling radiator to the crankcase sump.3. Undo the connectors (3a) and disconnect the engine oil supply and return pipes to the cooling radiator (3b) from the oil filter mounting.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the lower engine flywheel protection (1b).2. Undo the bolts fixing the crankcase sump to the gearbox.3. Undo the bolts fixing the crankcase sump.
1. Undo the upper nut (1a) fixing the pressure pump and fix it using a suitable engine lifting bracket (1b).2. Fit the safety tools (2a) and (2b) for supporting the power unit and connect the rod to the bracket fitted previously.

3. Act on the tool rod and raise the power unit, as necessary.
1. Lower the crankcase sump, as necessary, and undo the bolts fixing the engine oil inlet.
In order to remove the crankcase sump it must be heated first using a bodywork drier to facilitate the removal of the sealant.
2. Remove the crankcase sump (2a) together with the enigne oil inlet (2b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Apply the recommended sealant to the entire perimeter of the crankcase sump.

2. Tighten the bolts fixing the crankcase sump to the gearbox.3. Fit the lower flywheel protection (3a) and fix it using the bolts (3b).
Place the engine oil supply and return pipes to the radiator back in their housings and connect them to the oil filter mounting using the connectors.Fit the brackets and fix them using the bolts or screws.Connect the oil return pipe from the turbocharger to the sump, crankcase sump side.Fit the protection for the oil return pipe from the turbocharger to the sump and fix it using the bolts.Tighten the bolts fixing the brackets connecting the crankcase sump to the power unit rigid rear support.Fit the engine oil level sensor and tighten it to the recommended torque.

2. Place the right front driveshaft (2a) in its housing and fix it to the intermediate driveshaft tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque.
