Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Proceed with removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the bulkhead protection on the left side.2. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe.
Proceed with removal  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7055B41  front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r (Left side). 1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the supply pipe from reservoir to power steering rigid pipe, rigid pipe side.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the return pipe between rigid intermediate return pipe to the fluid reservoir, rigid pipe side.
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and raise the power steering fluid reservoir (1b) as much as necessary.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the rubber supply pipe from reservoir to power steering pump rigid pipe, reservoir side, and remove it.
Refitting ( Removing ) Place the rubber supply pipe from reservoir to power steering rigid pipe back in its seating, connect it to the reservoir and tighten the band.Refit in its seating the power steering fluid reservoir and secure it with its bolts. Connect the return pipe between rigid intermediate return pipe to fluid reservoir, rigid pipe side.Connect the rubber supply pipe from reservoir to power steering rigid pipe, rigid pipe side. Proceed with the refitting  - 7055B41  front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (Left side). Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the power steering system as described belowWith the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off, carry out 4-5 complete steering wheel rotation cycles (left and right).Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Remove the car from the ramps.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left). Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.Fit the service tank protection on the left side and secure it with its bolt. Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side).
