) Position the vehicle on the ramp Proceed with removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the bulkhead protection on the left side.2. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe.

Proceed with removal - 4450B12 front or rear wheels (two) - r+r . Proceed with removal - 7055B41 front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . 1. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the return pipe between intermediate rigid return pipe to fluid reservoir (1b), side of return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir.

1. Undo the nuts securing the return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir to the power steering box.

1. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the return pipe between rigid pipes (duplex) from heat exchanger to intermediate pipe for fluid reservoir (1b), side of return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir.

Working beneath the vehicle, release the return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir.1. Working in the engine bay, remove the return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir.Connect the return pipe between rigid pipes (duplex) from heat exchanger to intermediate pipe for fluid reservoir, side of return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir and tighten the band.Tighten the nuts securng the return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir to the power steering box.Connect the return pipe between rigid intermediate return pipe to the fluid reservoir, side of return pipe between duplex pipe and fluid reservoir and tighten the band. Proceed with refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with the refitting - 7055B41 front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r (Left side). Proceed with refitting - 4450B12 front or rear wheels (two) - r+r . Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the power steering system as described belowWith the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off, carry out 4-5 complete steering wheel rotation cycles (left and right).Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Remove the car from the ramps.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left). Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.Fit the service tank protection on the left side and secure it with its bolt. Proceed with the refitting - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side).
