Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Proceed with removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the bulkhead protection on the left side.2. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe.
Proceed with removal  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7055B41  front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . 1. Undo the band (1a) and disconnect the rubber pipe from rigid return pipe to fluid reservoir (1b), rigid pipe side (duplex) of power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger radiator.
Undo the bolt securing the supply pipe from pump to power steering box to the power steering box.1. Unscrew the connector (1a) and disconnect the outlet hose from the power steering box (1b), steering box side.2. Undo the connector (2a) and disconnect the supply pipe from the pump to the power assisted steering box (2b), power assisted steering box side.
1. Undo the bolts securing the front bumper to the radiator support beam
1. Release the rigid pipes (duplex) of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to the heat exchanger radiator from the retaining bands.2. Push back protective sheaths (2a), loosen bands (2b) and disconnect rigid pipes (duplex) of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger (2c), heat exchanger side.
1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove rigid pipes (duplex) of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger radiator (1b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Refit the rigid pipes (duplex) of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger radiator and secure with bolts.Connect the rigid pipes (duplex) of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger radiator, heat exchanger side and tighten the collars.Secure the rigid pipes (duplex) of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger radiator using retaining bandsTighten the bolts securing the front bumper to the radiator support beam.1. Connect the supply pipe from pump to power steering box (1a), power steering box side, and tighten the connector (1b) to the specified torque.

2. Connect the pipe from the pump to the power steering box (2a), power steering box side, and tighten the connector (2b) to the recommended torque.

Tighten the bolt securing the supply pipe from the pump to power steering box to the power steering box.Secure the rubber pipe from return pipe to fluid reservoir, rigid pipe (duplex) side of the power steering system hydraulic circuit from/to heat exchanger radiator and tighten the retaining bands. Proceed with refitting  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7055B41  front supplementary wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, rear element r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (Left side). Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the power steering system as described belowWith the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off, carry out 4-5 complete steering wheel rotation cycles (left and right).Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Remove the car from the ramps.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left). Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.Fit the service tank protection on the left side and secure it with its bolt. Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side).
