The boot open switch
I11 sends an earth
signal, when the boot is open, to pin 9 of connector B of M40.
The light
G40 is thus switched on for
a timed period via a line supplied by pin 11 of connector B of M40.
The boot open signal is also sent to the
instrument - pin 13 of connector B of
E50
- to switch on
the 'boot open' LED and car symbol, while pin 15 of connector A
of
E50
supplies the ignition-operated supply (INT/A) to
the panel through fuse

The glove compartment light
