) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Make sure that the ignition is OFF (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

(left). - 7055B39 front additional wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, front element - r r (right) - 1092G10 single engine belt r r . - 1092G40 cam belt tensioner - r r . 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and disconnect the right front half shaft (1b) from the intermediate half shaft.

The above bolts have been treated with an eslok type material therefore they should be replaced each time they are removed.

2. Undo the nut fixing the rear power unit rigid support to the flexible mounting.

1. Undo the nut fixing the timing side rigid engine support to the flexible mounting.

- 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . - 1076B50 exhaust pipe attachment to engine - r + r . 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the bracket (1b).2. Undo the bolt fixing the oil sump to the engine oil supply and return pipes to the cooling radiator.3. Undo the connectors (3a) and disconnect the engine oil supply and return pipes to the cooling radiator (3b) from the oil filter mounting.

Recover the engine oil which comes out in a suitable container.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the hose connecting the turbocharger and the exhaust pipe (1b).

1. Release and remove the engine oil filter using a suitable tool.2. Unscrew the fitting.3. Remove the engine oil filter mounting.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and move the air conditioning compressor (1b).2. Undo the lower bolts fixing the rigid engine support, timing side, to the cylinder block/crankcase.

1. Undo the upper nut (1a) fixing the pressure pump and fix it using a suitable engine lifting bracket (1b).2. Fit the safety tools (2a) and (2b) for supporting the power unit and connect the rod to the bracket fitted previously.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the left side protection (1b) for the timing belt.

1. Undo the upper bolts fixing the rigid engine support, timing side, to the cylinder block/crankcase.

1. Act on the tool rod and raise the power unit, as necessary.2. Remove the rigid engine support, timing side.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the rigid engine support, timing side, back in its housing.Act on the tool rod and lower the power unit.1. Tighten the upper bolts fixing the rigid engine support, timing side, to the recommended torque.

Fit the left side protection for the timing belt and fix it using the bolts.1. Remove the safety tools (1a) and (1b) supporting the power unit.

2. Remove the engine lifting bracket.3. Tighten the upper nut fixing the pressure pump to the recommended torque.

1. Tighten the lower bolts fixing the rigid engine support, timing side, to the cylinder block/crankcase to the recommended torque.

2. Place the air conditioning compressor (2a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque.

Fit the engine oil filter mounting.Tighten the connector fixing the engine oil filter mounting to the recommended torque.

Place the engine oil filter back in its housing and tighten it fully by hand after having lubricated the gasket using engine oil.Fit the hose connecting the turbocharger and the exhaust pipe, complete with gasket, and fix it tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.

Place the engine oil supply and return pipes to the radiator back in their housings and connect them to the oil filter mounting using the connectors.Fit the brackets and fix them using the bolts or screws. - 1076B50 exhaust pipe attachment to engine - r + r . - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . 1. Tighten the nut securing timing side rigid engine support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

1. Tighten the nut securing the rear power unit rigid support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

2. Place the right front driveshaft (2a) in its housing and fix it to the intermediate driveshaft tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque.

The above bolts have been treated with an eslok type material therefore they should be replaced each time they are removed.

Connect the battery terminal (-).Top up the engine oil lubrication circuit using the recommended oil.
