Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (left).  - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (right)  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r .  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r .  - 1092A12  crankshaft pulley - r+r for versions with air conditioner .  - 1092G20  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r .  - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r .  - 1008C16  body link bracket - r r .  - 1032B14  toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement versions with air conditioner .  - 1060E30  pressure pump pulley - r r .  - 1060E10  pressure pump - r r . 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and move the fuel filter (1b) away from the air capacity body.
1. Disconnect the oil vapour supply pipe to the inlet from the oil vapour separator.2. Undo the nuts (2a) and move the oil vapour separator (2b) away from the air capacity body.3. Recover the bracket.
1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the injectors, then move the wiring to the side.

2. Undo the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors, injector side, using a suitable spanner.

3. Undo the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors, injector side, using a suitable spanner.4. Remove the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors.
Fit new pipes from fuel manifold to injectors upon reassembly.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pressure sensor.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the single fuel manifold pipe (2b).
1. Disconnect the air inlet hose from the air chamber.2. Undo the nuts fixing the exhaust gas supply pipe to the air chamber.3. Undo the bolt (3a) for the fixing bracket and disconnect the exhaust pipe supply pipe (3b) from the air chamber.4. Disconnect the coupling for the coolant return pipe to the engine coolant reservoir.5. Undo the bolts (5a) and move the coolant return pipe to the reservoir (5b) away from the air chamber.6. Undo the bolts (6a), disconnect the vacuum pipe for the E.G.R. valve (6b) from the valve and move it sideways.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the excess pressure sensor.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the pressure pump support to the air chamber.2. Remove the stud shown in the diagram from the pressure pump support to facilitate the removal of the air chamber.
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the air chamber (1b) with the gasket (1c).
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Fit the air chamber (1a), with the gasket (1b), and fix it tightening the nuts (1c) to the recommended torque.

1. Fit the stud on the pressure pump support.2. Tighten the bolts fixing the pressure pump support to the air chamber to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connections to the heater plugs.Connect the electrical connection to the excess pressure sensor.Place the vacuum pipe for the E.G.R. valve back in its housing, connect it to the E.G.R. valve and fix it using the bolts.Place the rigid coolant return pipe to the tank back in its housing and fix it to the air chamber using the bolts.Connect the coupling for the coolant return pipe to the engine coolant reservoir.Connect the exhaust gas supply pipe to the air chamber and fix it using the nuts and the bolt for the mounting bracket.Connect the air inlet hose to the air chamber.Fit the single fuel manifold pipe and fix it using the nuts.Connect the electrical connection to the fuel pressure senor.1. Fit new pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors and fix them using the connectors without tightening them.2. Tighten the connectors for the pipes between the fuel manifold and the injectors, manifold side to the recommended torque using a suitable spanner.
The tightening torque figure in the table is the nominal value; therefore the correct value must be calculated according to the length of spanner N. 1.870.671.000.

3. Tighten the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors, injector side, to the recommended torque using a suitable spanner.

4. Place the wiring back in its housing and connect the electrical connections to the injectors.
