3314591 - 3340A12 A'B.S. system. - electronic and hydraulic CONTROL UNIT R.R.

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op.   5530B10  battery - r+r ).

 - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left). Remove the cap with built-in brake fluid level switch and drain the brake/clutch fluid from the reservoir using a suitable syringe.1. Disconnect the comb from the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit.

2. Release the A.B.S. pipes from their clip.3. Disconnect the pipes from the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit and move them aside. 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) .

The letters indicating to which caliper and to which brake pump outlet they should be connected are stamped on the control unit at each outlet.RR = to the right rear brake (pipe marked with a light blue coloured band) LR = to the left rear brake (pipe marked with a green coloured band) RF = to the right front caliper (pipe marked with a yellow coloured band) LF = to the left front caliper (pipe marked with a white coloured band) MC1 = from the T connector (pipe marked with a black or pink coloured band when the pipe polyammide resin is black) MC2 = from the secondary circuit pump/front.

Fit the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit and tighten the nuts to the specified torque.

Connect the pipes to the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit and tighten the connectors to the specified torque.

Connect the comb to the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit. - 3330A14  HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM - Bleed air .  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left). Connect the negative (-) battery terminalRemove the car from the ramps.
