Removing ( Refitting ) Place the steering wheel in the centred position with the wheels straight. - 5580C18  air bag module - r+r .

Closely observe the safety regulations established for this operation.

 - 7040A26  steering column trim - r+r . 1. Disconnect the Air Bag electrical connection.

2. Remove the rubber protector (2a) and undo the steering wheel nut (2b).3. Remove the steering wheel (3a) using the tool (3b).

Do not use a hammer or other similar tools to remove the steering wheel, as these would remove the steering column retaining washer and cause play.

Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the wheels are straight.Fit the steering wheel and tighten the nut to the specified torque.
