With the aid of a second operator,
support the bonnet lid1. Use a screwdriver to lift clip (1a) and prise up head (1b).2. Unscrew the connection pin and remove.

Check pin condition and touch
up the paint on the pin before refitting.If the pin needs changing, the new pin
must be painted completely.Tighten the telescopic strut connection
