3314388 - 1072C10 exhaust manifold - r + r and replace seal

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left and right).  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r .  - 1080C10  e.g.r. valve - r + r . 1. Undo the three nuts illustrated in the diagram fixing the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold.
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and the bolt (1b) and remove the bracket (1c) fixing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder block/crankcase.
 - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the reinforcement bracket (1b).2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the protection (2b) for the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger.
Undo the remaining nut fixing the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold and lower it, as necessary.1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the exhaust manifold (1b).2. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Fit the exhaust manifold (1a), complete with a new gasket (1b), and fix it tightening the nuts (1c) to the recommended torque.

Place the turbocharger back in its housing and fix it to the exhaust manifold tightening the nut to the recommended torque.

Fit the protection for the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger and fix it using the bolts.Fit the reinforcement bracket and fix it using the nuts.Fit the backet fixing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder block/crankcase and fix it using the nuts and the bolt.1. Tighten the three nuts fixing the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold to the recommended torque.
