Position the vehicle

Check that the tyre pressures are correct,
including the spare tyre. | The tyre pressures should be checked

Earth the front brake pad wear indicator
cable.Turn the ignition on (MAR).Press the brake pedal and check that the
front brake pad wear warning light comes on. Raise the vehicle and check that the rubber
gaiters on the drive shafts and power steering and the balljoint caps
are not friction damaged or broken.Check that there are no leaks from the
brake and fuel pipes/connectors. Visually check:
- bodywork exterior
- underside protection (exhaust, fuel and brake pipes)
- rubber components (dust excluders, hoses, bushes, etc.).
- Visually check the accessories poly-V drive belt.
Check and if necessary top up the
following fluid levels:
- brake and clutch,
- power steering,
- windscreen wiper,
- battery,
- engine cooling,
- etc.
