Removing ( Refitting ) 1. With the aid of a second operator to support the lid, slighly raise the retaining clips at the end of the telescopic strut.2. Remove the telescopic strut heads (2a) from pins (2b) on the bonnet hinge. Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the telescopic strut is undamaged.Fit the strut and ensure the ends are inserted over the retaining pins.Check operation.
