3308665 - K56 I.E. WARNING AND CODE WARNING LIGHT BOTH ON

During starting, the i.e. failure and the CODE warning lights come on and remain on
If both the i.e. failure and the CODE warning lights remain on simultaneously, this means that there has been no dialogue between the two control units to recognize the key that has been inserted and therefore starting will not be enabled.

Check, in order:

  • that there are no faults in the CODE control unit
  • that there are no faults in the engine management control unit

Lack of dialogue between the diagnostic equipment and a control unitContinue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
