) Proceed with removal - 7040A43 cover (one only) for wiring beneath facia - r r . Proceed with removal - 7040A37 fuse box cover - r r . Proceed with removal - 7040A65 passenger compartment box lock , one , r r . Proceed with removal - 5580C18 air bag module - r+r .

Proceed with removal - 7040A26 steering column trim - r+r . Proceed with removal - 4110A11 steering wheel - r+r for replacement or check for versions with air bag . Proceed with removal - 5550A12 complete stalk unit - r+r for versions with air bag . Proceed with removal - 5505A18 multi-function control unit - r r . Proceed with removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 3330B02 pedal assembly - r r . 1. At the bench, disconnect the accelerator pedal potentiometer from the linkage.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the accelerator pedal potentiometer (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the accelerator pedal potentiometer back in its housing and secure it with the bolts.Connect the accelerator pedal potentiometer to the linkage. Proceed with refitting - 3330B02 pedal assembly - r r . Proceed with the refitting - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with refitting - 5505A18 multi-function control unit - r r . Proceed with refitting - 5550A12 complete stalk unit - r+r for versions with air bag . Proceed with refitting - 4110A11 steering wheel - r+r for replacement or check for versions with air bag . Proceed with refitting - 7040A26 steering column trim - r+r . Proceed with refitting - 5580C18 air bag module - r+r . Proceed with refitting - 7040A65 passenger compartment box lock , one , r r . Proceed with refitting - 7040A37 fuse box cover - r r . Proceed with refitting - 7040A43 cover (one only) for wiring beneath facia - r r . When refitting the accelerator pedal potentiometer, connect the Examiner and carry out the self-initialisation procedure.
