3314461 - 1820B08 Clutch release HYDRAULIC SYSTEM - Bleeding air and restoring level

Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left). 1. Unclip the coolant outlet pipe from the reservoir.
1. Unscrew bolt (1a) and move aside the coolant reservoir (1b).
1. Connect the equipment to the brake fluid reservoir.2. Remove the protective cap on the master cylinder bleed valve3. Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the master cylinder.4. Open the bleed valve on the master cylinder.5. Slowly open the fluid reservoir cock.Wait until all the air contained in the hydraulic system has emerged.Close the bleed valve on the master cylinder.
Remove the collection system.Remove the equipment.Check correct clutch disengagement and gear engagement.Check that the disengagement travel of the clutch master cylinder is within the specified tolerance values.
The master cylinder disengagement travel is not adjustable and depends on the volume of fluid shifted by the piston in the master cylinder.
