The test must be carried out at an ambient temperature of between 18 ° C and 30 ° C.

Close all the doors and windows.Set the gearbox to neutral.Start the engine and run it at a speed of 1250-1300 rpm. Connect the recharging device to the vehicle's air conditioning system (see op.   5040A10  Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling ) in order to read the low pressure (1a) and high pressure (1b) values. Make sure that the air conditioner is switched off (ECON button pressed).Switch on recirculation (button pressed).Press the fan speed selector until 3 solid bars are displayed on the ICS monitor.Press the temperature selector until it is at the coldest setting (LOW).Press the air distribution selector until distribution is in the front position.Check on the recharging device's low and high pressure gauges, that the pressure is within 5-6 bar.Switch on the air conditioner (AUTO button pressed).Check that within one minute, the low pressure gauge reading is 2.5-3.0 bar and the high pressure gauge reading is 15-16 bar.Wait for the engine cooling fan to come on and check that the low pressure gauge reading is 1.5-1.8 bar and the high pressure gauge reading is 10-12 bar.
