) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal - 4450B04 right front wheel r r . Proceed with the removal - 7055B39 front additional wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, front element - r r (Right side). Proceed with removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with removal - 1092G10 single engine belt r r . Proceed with removal - 1092A10 Crankshaft services PULLEY - R.R. . 1. Undo the plug and drain the engine oil.

Collect the engine oil in a suitable container. Engine oil contains substances harmful to the environment. Discard these substances in containers designed for their disposal.

Proceed with removal - 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r . 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the shield (1b).2. Loosen the band and disconnect the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger, oil sump side.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the condensation oil recovery pipe from the crankcase sump. 2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine oil level sensor.

3. Undo the bolt securing the intermediate drive shaft mounting to the crankcase oil sump. 4. Undo the bolts fixing the manual gearbox and differential to the cylinder block/crankcase.

Proceed with removal - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with removal - 1084A16 oil dip stick pipe - r r . Position a hydraulic jack under the rigid power unit support, timing side.1. Undo the nut fixing the rear power unit rigid support to the flexible mounting.2. Undo the nut fixing the power unit timing side rigid support to the flexible mounting.

1. Undo the front and rear bolts (1a) securing the crankcase sump using tool (1b).

2. Undo the side bolts (2a) securing the crankcase sump using tool (2b).

3. Undo the crankcase sump camshaft side side bolts using a commercial hexagonal splined wrench.4. Cut the cranckase sump sealant using the special tool and lower the crankcase sump as far as possible.

5. Undo the bolts (5a) and the nut (5b) securing the engine oil intake chamber.6. Fit the crankcase sump together with the engine oil inlet chamber.

Refitting ( Removing

) Thoroughly clean the contact surfaces of crankcase sump and cylinder block of sealant residues. Apply silicone sealant to the side and rear surfaces of the crankcase sump.

Apply a continuous bead of sealant with no breaks.

1. Fit the crankcase sump together with the engine oil inlet.

When fitting the crankcase sump, avoid major sideways movements which may remove the sealant.

Tighten the engine oil air intake bolts and nuts.Apply silicone sealant to the front surfaces of the crankcase sump.

Apply a continuous bead of sealant with no breaks.

2. Tighten the side bolts (2a) for the crankcase sump to the recommended torque using the tool (2b).

3. Tighten the front and rear bolts (3a) for the crankcase sump to the recommended torque using the tool (3b).

1. Undo the nut fixing the timing side rigid power unit support to the flexbile mounting to the specified torque.

2. Tighten the nut securing the rear power unit rigid support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

Remove the hydraulic jack from under the power unit timing side front support. Proceed with refitting - 1084A16 oil dip stick pipe - r r . Proceed with refitting - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . 1. Tighten the bolts securing the manual gearbox with differential to the crankcase to the specified torque.

2. Tighten the bolt securing the intermediate drive shaft mounting to the oil sump. 3. Connect the electrical connection for the engine oil level sensor. 4. Connect the condensation oil recovery pipe to the crankcase sump and tighten the band.

Connect the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger, turbocharger side, and tighten the band. Refit the shield in its housing and fix it with the nuts. Proceed with refitting - 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r . Place the engine oil drain plug, complete with a new seal, back in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Proceed with refitting - 1092A10 Crankshaft services PULLEY - R.R. . Proceed with refitting - 1092G10 single engine belt r r . Proceed with the refitting - 7055B39 front additional wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, front element - r r (Right side). Proceed with refitting - 4450B04 right front wheel r r . Refill the engine oil lubrication system - 0010T11 engine oil check level and top up . Proceed with refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
