3314198 - 1088E20 resistor for radiator cooling fan - r + r (Automatic transmission)

Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

Proceed with the removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Right and left sides). Proceed with removal  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . 1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the engine cooling fan resistor.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the resistor for the engine cooling fan (2b).

The figure shows the resistor for the top engine cooling fan. Do the same for the removal/refitting of the resistor for the bottom engine cooling fan.

Refitting ( Removing ) Refit the engine cooling fan resistor in its seating and fix it with its bolts.Connect the electrical connections to the resistor for the engine cooling fan. Proceed with refitting  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Right and left sides). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal
