Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with removal  - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace . 1. Loosen the band and disconnect the air supply hose between the turbocharger and the heat exchanger, heat exchanger side. 2. Undo the bolt securing the turbocharging air-air heat exchanger bracket to the radiator top crossmember.3. Remove the turbocharging air-air heat exchanger (3a) complete with mounting backet (3b). Refitting ( Removing ) Refit the turbocharging air-air heat exchanger (3a) complete with mounting bracket in its seating.Tighten the bolt securing the turbocharging air-air heat exchanger mounting to the radiator top crossmember.Connect the air supply hose between the turbocharger and the intercooler, heat exchanger side and tighten the band. Proceed with refitting  - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace . Proceed with refitting  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
