Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with the removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Right and left sides). Proceed with removal  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with removal  - 1088E11  fans with single engine duct - r+r . Proceed with removal  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with removal  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with removal  - 1048A50  air inlet pipe to turbo charger - r + r . Proceed with removal  - 1088D24  rigid pipe for coolant inlet to water pump - r + r . 1. Undo the bolts (1a), nut (1b) and remove the catalytic preconverter lower heat shield (1c). 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the exhaust manifold heat shield (1b). 1. Undo the bolts (1a), loosen the collar (1b) and remove the exhaust gas pipe from manifold to heat exchanger (1c). Proceed with removal  - 1080B40  catalytic pre-converter - r r . 1. Loosen the band and disconnect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger, turbocharger side.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the air supply hose between the turbocharger and the heat exchanger, turbocharger side. 1. Disconnect the pipe from the solenoid valve to the turbocharger vane position actuator, actuator side and remove it. 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the protection (1b) for the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger.2. Disconnect the bands and remove the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger. 3. Undo the connector (3a) and disconnect the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (3b), engine block side. 1. Undo the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head.2. Undo the bolt securing the mounting bracket to the cylinder head.3. Remove the turbocharger unit (3a) complete with exhaust manifold (3b).Remove the exhaust manifold gasket. Refitting ( Removing ) Place the exhaust manifold gasket in the housing.1. Fit the turbocharger unit (1a) complete with exhaust manifold (1b) in its seating.2. Tighten the bolt retaining the mount to the cylinder head.3. Tighten the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head to the recommended torque.

Connect the engine oil delivery pipe to the turbocharger, crankcase side, and tighten the connector to the recommended torque.

Refit in its seating the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger and secure using the bands. Replace the protection for the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger and secure using the bolts.Place the pipe from the solenoid valve to the turbocharger vane position actuator back in its housing and connect it to the actuator.Connect the air supply hose between the turbocharger and the heat exchanger, turbocharger side, and secure with a band. Connect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger, turbocharger side, and tighten the band. Proceed with refitting  - 1080B40  catalytic pre-converter - r r . Refit the exhaust gas pipe from manifold to heat exchanger, then secure it with the collar and bolts.Place the exhaust manifold heat shield back in its housing and fix it using the nuts.Refit the catalytic preconverter lower heat shield, then secure it with the bolts and nut. Proceed with refitting  - 1088D24  rigid pipe for coolant inlet to water pump - r + r . Proceed with refitting  - 1048A50  air inlet pipe to turbo charger - r + r . Refill the engine cooling system with coolant  - 0010T20  coolant change . Proceed with refitting  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with refitting  - 1088E11  fans with single engine duct - r+r . Proceed with refitting  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Right and left sides). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
