Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal  - 7040B10  load platform (luggage platform) trim - r+r . Proceed with removal  - 4450B13  rear wheels(2) r r . Proceed with removal  - 1040A10  fuel tank - r + r and decant fuel . 1. Undo the right nut (1a) fixing the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge using the tool (1b).

2. Remove the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge. Refitting ( Removing ) Place the immersed pump assembly, complete with gauge, back in its housing so that the arrow stamped on the cover is in line with the one on the tank. Fit the ring nut fixing the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge and tighten it using the tool.

Proceed with refitting  - 1040A10  fuel tank - r + r and decant fuel . Proceed with refitting  - 4450B13  rear wheels(2) r r . Proceed with refitting  - 7040B10  load platform (luggage platform) trim - r+r . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
