) Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

Proceed with removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . 1. Loosen the band and disconnect the air supply duct from heat exchanger to inlet manifold, heat exchanger side.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe, duct side, from air flow meter to turbocharger.

1. Loosen the bands and remove the duct from air flow meter to turbocharger (1a) complete with resonator (1b).2. Undo the bolt securing the air filter mounting.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air flow meter.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the turbocharger blades actuator solenoid.

3. Disconnect the vacuum pipes from the solenoid valve for the turbocharger blades actuator.

1. Remove the air filter (1a) complete with air flow meter (1b) and turbocharger blades position actuator solenoid (1c).

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit in its seating the air filter complete with air flow meter and turbocharger blades position actuator solenoid.Connect the vacuum pipes to the solenoid valve for the turbocharger blades actuator.Connect the electrical connection to the turbocharger blades actuator solenoid. Connect the electrical connection to the air flow meter.Tighten the bolt securing the air filter mounting bracket.Refit in its seating the duct from air flow meter to turbocharger complete with resonator and tighten the bands.Connect the oil vapour recovery pipe, duct side, from air flow meter to turbocharger and tighten the relevant band.Connect the air supply duct from heat exchanger to inlet manifold, heat exchanger side, and tighten the band. Proceed with refitting - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
