) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side Proceed with removal - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with removal - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with removal - 1048B22 air delivery sleeve from heat exchanger to intake manifold - r + r . Proceed with removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with removal - 1080C74 E.G.R. - ELECTRICAL VALVE R.R. . 1. Undo the bolts (1a), loosen the collar (1b) and remove the exhaust gas recirculation pipe (1c).

1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the coolant inlet and outlet pipes from the water/exhaust gase heat exchanger for the E.G.R. system.

Collect the coolant which comes out in a suitable container.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the E.G.R. system water/exhaust gas heat exchanger (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the EGR system water/exhaust valve heat exchanger in its seating and secure it with the bolts. Connect the coolant inlet and outlet pipes to the water/exhaust gas heat exchanger for E.G.R. system and tighten the bands.Refit the exhaust gas recirculation pipe in its seating and secure it with the collars and bolts. Proceed with refitting - 1080C74 E.G.R. - ELECTRICAL VALVE R.R. . Proceed with refitting - 1048B22 air delivery sleeve from heat exchanger to intake manifold - r + r . Refill the engine cooling system with coolant - 0010T20 coolant change . Proceed with refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with refitting - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with refitting - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramp.
