Proceed with removal - 7040B10 load platform (luggage platform) trim - r+r . 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the access cover (1b) for the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.

3. Disconnect the rapid attachment for the rear fuel supply pipe from the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.

Proceed with removal - 4450B13 rear wheels(2) r r . 1. Disconnect the rapid attachment for the rear fuel supply pipe, front fuel supply pipe side.

1. Release the rear fuel supply pipe from the underbody fastenings.

1. Undo the nut securing the handbrake cable mounting bracket.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and nut (2b) and remove the heat shield (2c).

1. Position a hydraulic jack under the rear suspension crossmember. 2. Undo the bolts (2a) and lower the rear suspension crossmember (2b), as necessary, using the hydraulic jack

1. Position a hydraulic jack under the fuel tank.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and lower the fuel tank (2b), as much as necessary.

Release the rear fuel supply pipe from the remaining fixings near the fuel tank.Place the fuel tank in its housing and fix it temporarily.Remove the hydraulic jack from under the tank.Withdraw and remove the rear fuel supply pipe.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the rear fuel supply pipe back in its housing.Position a hydraulic jack under the tank.Undo the bolts and lower the fuel tank, as necessary.Fix the rear fuel supply pipe to the fixings near the fuel tank.Refit the fuel tank in its seating and secure with its bolts.Remove the hydraulic jack from under the tank.1. Replace the rear suspension crossmeber (1a) in its housing using the hydraulic jack (1b) and fix it tightening the bolts (1c) to the recommended torque.

Place the heat shield back in its housing and secure it using the bolts and nut.Tighten the nut securing the handbrake cable mounting bracket.Secure the rear fuel supply pipe with the underbody fixings.Connect the rapid attachment for the rear fuel supply pipe, front fuel supply pipe side. Proceed with refitting - 4450B13 rear wheels(2) r r . Connect the rapid attachment for the rear fuel supply pipe to the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.Connect the electrical connection to the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.Fit the access cover to the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge and fix it using the bolts. Proceed with refitting - 7040B10 load platform (luggage platform) trim - r+r . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramp.
