) Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

Proceed with removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with removal - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with removal - 1048B22 air delivery sleeve from heat exchanger to intake manifold - r + r . 1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Undo and remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the engine coolant temperature sensor back in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor. Proceed with refitting - 1048B22 air delivery sleeve from heat exchanger to intake manifold - r + r . Proceed with refitting - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with refitting - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
