Removing ( Refitting ) Open the bonnet lid.1. Unscrew nuts retaining shield frame (1b) and remove together with the crest.2. Remove crest retaining clips (2a), then detach crest (2b) from the frame. Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the badge is undamaged.Clean and degrease the surfaces of the crest to be bonded and its seat on the frame.Apply the adhesive and refit the badge.Fit both clips retaining the crest to the frame.Fit the frame and tighten the retaining bolts to the shield.Close the bonnet lid. Removing ( Refitting ) Open the bonnet lid, as necessary.1. Undo the crest fixing bolt.2. Remove the crest (2a) releasing the double-sided tape (2b) and the pins (2c). Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Use heptane to clean the area of the bodywork to which the crest is to be refitted.2. Remove the protection for the adhesive side of the crest.3. Place the crest (3a) in position attaching the retainers (3b).4. Tighten the crest fixing bolt.Reclose the bonnet lid.
