The direction indicators and hazard warning
lights are controlled by the Check device
M45.
The supply for the Check device
M45 arrives
directly from the battery at pin 1 of connector C and 6 of connector
E via fuses F17 and F15 of junction unit B2 for the right and left
branches of the lights, respectively.
The ignition-controlled supply (15/54) arrives
via relay
T1 and fuse F9 of junction unit B2 at pin 3 of connector
B: pin 8 of connector C is earthed.
The specific supply for the hazard warning
lights arrives at pin 3 of connector D via fuse
F8 of junction
unit B2.
Hazard warning light operation is controlled
by a switch located in unit
H35:when the button is pressed, an
earth signal is sent to pin 9 of connector A of M45.
Pin 2 of
H35 is operated when the ignition
is turned on (15/54) via relay T1 and fuse F6 of junction unit B1;
this line gives the go-ahead for lighting up the control panel
H35
.
The turn signals are activated by stalk
unit
H5;
when the lever is operated in both directions,
a signal is sent to pin 5 (left side arrows) and pin 6 (right side
arrows) of connector B of
M45.
The Check device
M45 produces two signals
which supply the direction indicators: from pin 3 of connector D
for the right ones (F11, F21, F31);
from pin 1 of connector
D for the following ones (
F10, F20, F30).
The tail-lights in clusters
F30 and F31
are not conventional bulbs but electronic leds:device M45 receives
two feedback signals, at pin 2 and 4 of connector D, from these devices
located in lights clusters F30 and F31.
The warning lights for the direction indicators,
located inside the instrument panel
E50, are also operated by
pins 18 and 17 of connector A of M45.
the red LED in switch
H35, which
lights up the ideogram with the hazard warning lights switched on,
is operated by pin 3 of connector A.
