3315561 - E2030 FOG LIGHTS - Functional description

Functional description

The two front fog lamps F15 (left) and F16 (right) are supplied through the front fog lights relay T14 located in the engine compartment junction unit B1. The relay is supplied directly by the battery via the line for fuse F30 of B1. The operation of the front fog lamps is also controlled by the electronic Check device M45 , which receives the control signal from the switch and controls the bulbs. The supply for the Check device M45 arrives directly from the battery at pin 1 of connector C and 6 of connector E via fuses F17 and F15 of junction unit B2 for the right and left branches of the lights, respectively. The ignition-controlled supply (15/54) arrives via relay T1 and fuse F9 of junction unit B2 at pin 3 of connector B: pin 8 of connector C is earthed. The device M45 receives an input the signal for fog lights switched on from the button located in unit H35 pin 2 of connector A. If, in addition to this signal, the side lights on signal is present, pin 5 of connector A, device M45 sends pin 6 of connector C the command for the fog lights relay T14 of B1. At the same time it sends: from pin 4 of connector B - a signal to unit H35 so as to light up the LED near the button which indicates the 'front fog lamps on' function. The supply for this LED for H35 is controlled by the ignition (15/54) via fuse F6 of junction unit B1; this line gives the go-ahead for lighting up the control panel H35 .
