The headlamp washer delay unit
T3 is
located in junction unit B2.
It is supplied (pin P) directly by the batteryvia
fuse
F12 of junction unit B2;
pin 31 is earthed
C25.
The device only works with the dipped headlamps
on. In effect, when the dipped headlamps switch for
H6H6 sends the command to pin 15 of connector
A of M45 when the dipped headlamps are on;
in this situation
the control unit
M45 supplies the coil for relay T2 of B1 from
pin 7 of connector C;
contact
T2 supplies pin 56 of headlamp
washer timer T3 via fuse F15.
When the windscreen washer/headlamp washer
switch for the steering column switch unit
H5 is closed, pins
1 and 4 of connector B of the windscreen wiper motor N15 are closed: the
device also sends the command to the timer T3 at pin 30 via pin
3 of connector A.
The windscreen wiper motor
N15 receives
an ignition-controlled supply (15/54) for relay T1 of B2 protected
by fuse F14.
If there are signals at pins 56 and 30 of
T3
simultaneously, the latter supplies the headlamp washer electric
pump motor N25 from pin S.
