3315610 - E3032 DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENT - Functional description

Functional description

The two-way switch controlling mirrors H31 operates electric motors located in the right and left electrically-operated door mirrors P60 and P61 respectively. The switch receives an ignition-operated supply (15/54) pin 6 from the line for relay T24 of B45 protected by fuse F78; pin 5 is earthed. The mirror is adjusted by operating the switch in one or other directions. Positive and earth signals are then sent to one of the two motors to determine the direction of rotation. Pin 4 of the mirror control switch H31 supplies pin 1 (joint) for the mirror motors P60 and P61. Pins 9 and 10 of H31 supply the motors that adjust the vertical position of mirrors P60 and P61 at pin 2. Pins 11 and 12 of H31 supply the motors, at pin 3, that adjust the horizontal position of mirrors P60 and P61. The mirrors are folded down by operating mirror control switch H31 : pins 1 and 2 of connector D of P60 and P61 . they are connected respectively to pins 1 and 7 and pins 2 and 8 of mirror control H31. Switch H31 is lit up at pin 3 by the supply coming from the services control unit M40 from pin 14 of connector A. Control unit M40 is supplied directly by the battery pin 7 of connector B by the line protected by fuse F63 of the luggage compartment junction unit B45. The electro-chromic interior rear view mirror P65 contains an electronic device that controls the mirrors automatic antiglare function. The supply for device P65 is controlled by the ignition (15/54) by the line for relay T24 of B45 protected by fuse F78. When a reverse engagement signal  See E2022  REVERSING LIGHTS is received, the antiglare function is disabled.
