Relay
T5 located in the engine compartment
junction unit B1 controls the compressor activation circuit
The relay is supplied by the line protected
by fuse
F19 also located in B1.
The coil receives a supply controlled by
the ignition (15/54) from the line of fuse
B16 of B2;
the
relay is thus energized by an earth signal coming from the engine
management control unit
M10: in this way the air conditioning
compressor engagement electro-magnet L20 is operated.
Climate control unit
M70 (pin 6 of connector
B) sends a request signal for compressor activation to four-stage
pressure switch K10;
if circuit pressures are correct, the
signal leaves the pressure switch and reaches engine control unit
M10 which, depending on its internal control logic, sends the
effective command to engage the compressor which energizes relay
T5 of B1.
