3314775 - 5040A63 PIPE from condenser to multi-stage (pressure switch) - valve R.R .

Follow the safety instructions (  See assembly 5040A   air conditioner coolant circuit ).

Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with the removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left and right sides). Proceed with removal  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the removal  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Right side). Proceed with removal  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Drain the air conditioner coolant circuit - 5540A10 l/h or r/h front side light (one) - r+r . 1. Release the protection (1a) and disconnect the electrical connection (1b) from the air conditioning system multistage pressure switch.

2. Undo the nut (2a) and disconnect the pipe frmo the condenser to the multistage valve (2b), multistage valve side.

Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.

Proceed with removal  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with removal - 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER . 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the pipe from the condenser to the multistage valve (1b), condenser side and remove it complete with multistage pressure switch. Refitting ( Removing ) Place the pipe from the condenser to the multistage valve (1a) back in its housing complete with multistage pressure switch, connect it to the condenser and tighten the bolt (1b) to the recommended torque.

Replace the O-Ring seals for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the connector threads with anti-freeze.

1. Connect the pipe from the condenser to the multistage valve (1a), multistage valve side and tighten the nut (1b) to the recommended torque.

Replace the O-Ring seals for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the connector threads with anti-freeze.

2. Connect the electrical connection (2a) to the air conditioning system multistage pressure switch and place the protection (2b) back in its housing. Fill the air conditioner coolant system - 5540A10 l/h or r/h front side light (one) - r+r . Proceed with refitting - 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER . Proceed with refitting  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Right side). Proceed with refitting  - 7040D30  engine bay front beam cover - r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left and right side). Connect the (-) battery terminal.
