2. Undo the bolt (2a) fixing the battery retaining bracket (2b).3. Remove the battery.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the battery back in its housing.Fix the battery with the bracket and tighten the fixing bolt.Connect the negative and positive terminals to the battery. - 5530B54 battery cover - r+r

Removing ( Refitting

) - 5530B54 battery cover - r+r1. Press and release the retainers (1a), then remove the cover (1b) for the power supply box on the battery.

1. Undo the bolts.2. Remove the retaining bracket.3. Loosen the terminal nut.4. Lift up the supply box and move it.

1. Undo the bolt.2. remove the bracket (2a) releasing the retainers (2b).3. Remove the battery.

Refitting ( Removing

) Check that the battery is not damaged.Position the bracket attaching the retainers and tighten the bolt.Place the maxifuse box in position and tighten the terminal nut.Position the retaining bracket and secure it using the bolts.Connect the electrical connections .Position the cover, engaging the retainers. - 5530B54 battery cover - r+rTest the electrical system.
