Description

The car is equipped with numerous self-diagnostic electronic control units. When a tester (Examiner or other instrument) is connected to the control units, self-diagnostic data can be read (parameters, errors) or active testing can be carried out. Each control unit converts its own self-diagnostic line into a single connector, which can be connected to the diagnostic instrument.The electrical connector of the diagnostic socket is integrated in the junction unit under the instrument panel, located in the bottom of the front left pillar.

The controls units which are connected to the diagnostic connector are:

• Air Bag control unit;
• electric steering control unit;
• engine control unit;
• body computer connector;
• parking control unit;
• braking system control unit;
• robotized gearbox node.
